our humble beginning

JIM ED NORMAN, PRESIDENT

ON THE MORNING OF:

It was freezing; the program was scheduled from 1:pm - 5:pm. The ground was covered with snow and ice, and I nearly froze with fear. I was worried that our very first event would have to be cancelled after spending months on end, in and out of meetings, planning and gaining support for the event.

BY NOON:

By mid-morning, strangely but amazingly sweet, the sun came out shinning bright; hot enough to melt (all) the snow. The evening turned out to be extremely warm.  At 1: pm the performance room was packed with high school and college students. In fact, the day turned out so hot that we opened the doors and extended the event out on the deck; everything went as planned.

THAT EVENING:

It may sound crazy but that very same evening immediately after the event (6:30 pm) the ground was completely covered with snow again. (Our humble beginning @ 20 Music Square E, Nashville, Tennessee 37203).
