JIM ED NORMAN, PRESIDENT
The Nashville conglomerate was the first and only record label on Music Row to acknowledge and celebrate diversity. President of the label, Jim Ed Norman worked closely with artists from some of the most remote parts of the world.
During his 21 years as head of the label he would always set aside time within the company's busy itinerary to celebrate Black History Week. Jim Ed retired shortly after; The Color of Music was the last of its programs.
